Job Summary
Follow laboratory procedures for specimen handling, processing, and shipping PK samples according to study instructions. Operate laboratory equipment, perform phlebotomy, and collect biological specimens while evaluating and solving problems related to collection and processing. Maintain and clean equipment, inventory reagents, and handle hazardous materials safely per policy. Wash glassware, ensure general cleanliness, and utilize communications systems. Support quality system implementation and continuous improvement initiatives. Complete special projects and fulfill all other duties as assigned. Overtime and weekend work required; potential travel for cross-site support or training.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent
- Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent
- 1 year of laboratory experience
- Must be able to see (distinguish colors) and hear
- Must have an excellent command of the English language, both oral and written
- Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls, including a computer keyboard, for up to 12 hours per day
- Must be able to stand and/or bend for up to 12 hours per day
- Overtime and weekend work as required
- Potential travel for cross-site support needs or external training needs
