Job Summary
Laboratory Technician responsible for supporting cyber security testing of new assets at the CAET facility for FE Transmission substations, applying cyber security baselines to OT assets, testing patch releases, maintaining security documentation, and collaborating across Transmission operations; emphasizes knowledge of substation equipment, cyber security standards (NERC CIP, NIST), relay/testing tools, and strong communication; involves lab development, training support, and safety adherence.
Required Qualifications
- High School education with a minimum of 2 years of electrical/electronics experience and 7 years of total experience, or
- Associate degree in Applied Science in Electrical or Electronics Engineering Technology from an ABET accredited school with a minimum of 5 years of experience, or
- Bachelor of science degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering Technology with 2 years of experience
