Job Summary
Laboratory Technician I responsibilities include retrieving samples for analysis, performing sample preparation (aliquot samples; spike and trace samples; prepare reagents; bottle samples; prepare concentrations; separation; sonication; liquid rack setup), resolving discrepancies to ensure proper labeling, preparing general laboratory paperwork (recording results, tracking samples, bench sheets, lab logbooks), washing glassware, stocking supplies, and maintaining a safe work area. The ideal candidate will have general knowledge of chemistry and/or general science, basic mathematical skills, strong problem solving abilities, the ability to learn quickly and multitask, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to follow instructions and comply with company policies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- High school Chemistry coursework, basic laboratory experience
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
- Professional working proficiency in English (read, write, and speak)
