Job Summary
Carry out accurate grain sample testing using approved laboratory methods and quality standards while operating, calibrating, and maintaining equipment to support reliable testing. Support quality control activities, audits, and proficiency trials to maintain trusted results, following ISO/IEC 17025 and SGS procedures to ensure compliance. Assist with consumables, stock control, and housekeeping to keep operations running smoothly, then manage priorities with the team to meet turnaround times. Contribute ideas that improve laboratory processes and overall service quality.
Required Qualifications
- A scientific qualification or sound scientific knowledge gained through experience in a laboratory environment
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow approved methods and procedures
- Sound computer literacy and confidence working with laboratory systems and documentation
- Good communication skills and a collaborative approach to working in a team environment
