Job Summary
Analyze technical documentation and define test procedures for electronic controllers in commercial refrigeration systems. Prepare test benches with wiring modifications and instrumentation, then execute functional, performance, and validation tests on prototypes and installed units. Monitor and analyze test data while preparing detailed technical reports covering configurations, methodologies, and results. Manage laboratory equipment calibration and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development, prototyping, and system tuning. This role operates within the Innovation Lab, focusing on improving performance and quality for next-generation climate technology.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of refrigeration cycle principles and key components (compressors, evaporators, condensers, valves, refrigerants, etc.)
- Understanding of commercial refrigeration applications
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics (both controllers and applications)
- Basic experience in measuring, interpreting, and verifying electrical signals and I/O functionality of electronic controllers
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Technical diploma (electronics or electrical engineering) or Equivalent qualification with relevant practical experience
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in laboratory testing or Engineering environments
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards
- Familiarity with advanced data acquisition tools and analysis software
- Experience with automation systems or programmable controllers
- Basic technical English proficiency
- Background or experience in thermodynamics/refrigeration is considered an asset
