Job Summary
Manage daily consumable replenishment at the point of use and maintain lab inventory using the site system. Handle cell and sample deliveries, perform routine decontamination of incubators, water baths, and class II cabinets, and calibrate pH meters and counterbalances. Organize pipette inventory, prepare basic media, and provide aseptic aliquoting for tissue culture. Oversee laboratory housekeeping, including stock room tidying, waste management, and glassware collection, washing, and sterilization services.
Required Qualifications
- Proven excellent customer service focus and ability to work collaboratively
- Good IT skills required (including Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook)
- Experience of working in a laboratory environment
- Knowledge of SHE requirements in a laboratory environment
- To be flexible with working hours when required to deliver the service required to our customers
