Job Summary
Educate new team members as a preceptor while maintaining a clean, orderly, and well-stocked department. Review system pending reports for reference laboratory tests, resolve problems, and prioritize STAT and routine specimens according to facility SOPs. Evaluate specimen acceptability for testing, distribute samples, manage accessioning, and prepare 24-hour urine containers while prioritizing delivery to the laboratory. Work full-time night shifts Monday through Friday with every other weekend off. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- 1 Laboratory experience in a clinical laboratory environment or as a phlebotomist
