Job Summary
Conduct a wide range of tests to evaluate environmental risks from pharmaceuticals, industrial chemicals, and agrochemicals. Perform instrument setup and method validation, execute sample batch analysis, and process data while maintaining general laboratory and housekeeping duties. Training covers all aspects of the role, including quantitative LC-MS analysis where advantageous. Based in Harrogate, this position supports the Environmental Fate and Metabolism Department within a dynamic team.
Required Qualifications
- Ideally educated to BSc in Chemistry or a related scientific subject, or to A-level or equivalent with experience working in a laboratory
- Excellent IT skills

- apply knowledge
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral are essential
Desired Qualifications
- ideally with previous GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) and laboratory experience
- Experience of quantitative LC-MS analysis would be advantageous
