Laboratory Technician

Job Summary
Perform analytical testing in a quality-controlled environment at ALS Environmental, conducting extraction procedures and tasks per quality work instructions, calibrating and maintaining laboratory equipment, managing consumables, and maintaining a clean, sterile workspace. You will organize tasks to meet timelines, report anomalies in results or samples to a supervisor, and ensure QA/QC compliance while adhering to safety policies. The role involves standing and moving in the lab, lifting up to 15 kg, and working either autonomously or as part of a team across a permanent full-time dayshift (Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday). The position requires a science degree or diploma, strong attention to detail, good chemical knowledge, and effective communication, with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance. Required Qualifications
- Tertiary education (a degree or diploma in science, preferably chemistry)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
