Job Summary
Prepare and analyze water, wastewater, receiving waters, microbiological, and inorganic samples. Organize designated tasks for efficiency and highlight anomalies in results, sample types, and sample behavior. Receive on-the-job training in technical components and procedures associated with a modern microbiological laboratory. This full-time permanent position runs Monday through Friday from 2pm to 10:15pm. Applicants must be a citizen or permanent resident of the country of application, or hold a valid working visa.
Required Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications or Certificate in Laboratory techniques
- Experience with and understanding of NATA requirements
- Previous laboratory experience
- Diligent in dealing with data and details
- Intermediate knowledge of MS applications
- Customer focussed
- A collaborative team player
- Flexibility to meet our changing business needs
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational skills to manage competing and changing priorities
- Citizen or Permanent Resident of the country you are applying for, or either hold or be able to obtain, a valid working visa
