Job Summary
Conduct various waived, moderately, and highly complex hematologic, chemical, immunohematologic, immunologic/serologic, microscopic, and microbiological tests on specimens to obtain data for diagnosis or treatment of diseases. Maintain knowledge of lab equipment, quality control methods, and report management. Full-time position working 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends and holidays; additional hours may be required for department operations. National certification as an MT/MLS/MLT by an approved agency is preferred, alongside two years of Lab Tech I or II experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in MLS and 1 year of experience
- Associate's degree in MLT and 2 years of experience
- Knowledge of lab equipment, quality control methods, and report management
Desired Qualifications
- National certification as an MT/MLS/MLT by an approved agency (ASCP or AMT)
- Two years Lab Tech I or II experience
