Job Summary
Join our team as a Laboratory Supervisor, overseeing daily operations and ensuring compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards in clinical laboratory testing. Supervise and coordinate activities to ensure timely test results while assisting with staffing, training, and performance evaluations. Leverage advanced scientific knowledge to support patient care excellence. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field, minimum 2 years of clinical laboratory experience, and relevant certification.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or a related science from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a structured clinical program (CAHEA-approved).
- Minimum of 2 years in a clinical laboratory setting.
- At least 1 year in a specific department.
- Certification by ASCP-BOC or AMT in clinical laboratory sciences or specialty certification in your laboratory area if not certified as a Medical Laboratory Scientist.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Histotechnology preferred.
- Completion of an accredited histology program and certification as a Histotechnician required.
