Job Summary
Oversee daily laboratory operations and workflow under the Laboratory Director, developing procedural protocols and ensuring precise execution of blood, body fluid, and tissue analysis. Order, perform, and evaluate technical procedures across subsections while receiving, processing, and distributing specimens appropriately. Manage specimen storage, maintain equipment and supply inventory, and ensure team competency through training and re-education for off shifts. Adhere to hospital policies, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards for Joint Commission, CAP, and AABB. Prepare processes for regulatory agencies and maintain current knowledge of compliance requirements.
