Laboratory Supervisor - Microbiology

Laboratory Supervisor position in Microbiology seeking an experienced leader to oversee day-to-day operations of the department, ensure accurate laboratory testing and timely reporting, supervise and mentor personnel, manage staffing across shifts, monitor workflow, address production errors, implement process and service-level improvements, maintain quality control and QA records, evaluate new processes, coach direct reports, perform bench work as needed, ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and handle administrative duties including payroll and personnel files. Minimum qualifications include an associate degree in a chemical/biological science or medical technology, CA CLS license, and 4+ years of technologist/technician experience; ASCP or AMT certification is preferred.
