Job Summary
Laboratory Supervisor at the Evansville site leads the quality-control lab administrative functions, overseeing a seven-person team. Collaborates with Evansville leadership, manufacturing operations, and technicians to ensure safe, standards-aligned workflows and consistently high-quality results. Part of a global T&I network to promote standard work, best practices, and lab improvements. Responsibilities include ensuring safety and current work processes, collecting and reviewing lab data, driving improvements based on metrics, resolving testing/staff/quality concerns with site leadership, leading incident/variance/customer-complaint investigations (root cause analysis), participating in lab improvement projects, fostering an inclusive culture, setting lab priorities and workflow, resolving internal team conflicts, ensuring ISO and IATF compliance, defining and communicating capital requests, setting and maintaining shift schedules, and managing timecards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry) preferred
- Minimum of 3 years Supervisory experience required
- Experience within manufacturing industry and/or laboratory processes preferred
- Strong people leadership skills including effective change management, the ability to listen, to communicate, and to relate well to others
- Strong networking skills
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Applications, SAP, ADP)
- Strong commitment to lab quality (calibrations, reliable results, quality)
