Job Summary
Laboratory Student performs tests on blood and body fluids under supervision to determine disease presence or absence, supports health maintenance, and may work independently after completing rotations. Requires strong analytical/problem-solving skills, effective communication (verbal and written), and excellent time management, organization, prioritization, decision-making, and planning abilities. Training under Medical Technologists/Medical Laboratory Technicians; program director oversight; rotation-based independence develops with demonstrated competence.
