Job Summary
Manage the receipt, booking in, and storage of laboratory samples and equipment while ensuring accurate tracking and easy retrieval. Carry out stock checks, order consumables, and liaise with internal teams regarding deliveries and queries. Support the safe dispatch of samples under Dangerous Goods regulations and dispose of petrochemical products post-testing. Maintain high standards across quality, safety, and service delivery in a fast-paced environment. Requires a full UK driving licence, forklift experience, and Grade C GCSEs. Based on-site in Ellesmere Port with a 37.5-hour week.
Required Qualifications
- Grade C or above in Math's and English GCSE
- Confident communicator who can work well with different teams
- Able to manage workload and prioritise in a busy environment
- IT literate and comfortable using systems and Microsoft Office
- A proactive, team-focused approach
- Full UK driving licence is essential
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a laboratory, stores, warehouse, production, or service environment
- Experience operating a forklift truck and/or holding a valid forklift licence
- Ideal for someone who enjoys structure, teamwork, and hands-on work
