Job Summary
Specimen Processor at Labcorp responsible for preparing laboratory specimens for analysis, unpacking and routing specimens to staging areas, accurately identifying and labeling, packaging and shipping to testing facilities, meeting department production goals, storing excess samples, data entry of patient information, and resolving problematic specimens. Requires attention to detail, ability to work independently and in a team, comfort with handling biological specimens, basic computer skills, and willingness to work a 3:00pm–11:30pm shift with potential overtime. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3 months or more of specimen processing experience
- 3 months or more of medical or laboratory experience
