Laboratory Specimen Processor

Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis by unpacking, routing to staging areas, and accurately identifying and labeling samples. Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities while meeting department activity and production goals. Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples and perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely. Resolve and document any problem specimens encountered during the process. This role works in a high volume, production-based environment performing a vital component of clinical lab science.
