Job Summary
Responsibilities include receiving/processing anatomic pathology specimens, accessioning, preparing/loading tissue processing runs, cutting/staining frozen sections, maintaining histology instrumentation, distributing pathology materials, assisting on fine needle aspiration procedures, filing, restocking, unpacking/ routing specimens, accurate labeling/identification, packing/shipping specimens, data entry of patient information, meeting production goals, and ensuring proper storage of excess samples. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs, pass color blindness test, and work in a high-volume production lab environment. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months or more clinical or medical industry work experience
