Job Summary
Laboratory Specialist/Phlebotomist to perform chemistry, hematology, urinalysis and immunology analyses, report results to providers, ensure quality control and equipment maintenance, comply with HIPAA regulations and OSHA safety policies, and serve as back-up to Lab Manager. Requires knowledge of medical laboratory principles, safety practices, and EMR proficiency; must demonstrate accuracy, effective communication, and adaptability to changing duties.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate’s Degree or higher preferred
- Certification and Licensure: MLT, ASCP, CPT or AMT certification preferred.
