Laboratory Service Technician -(Part Time Night Shift)

Laboratory Service Technician (LSST) supports clinical and hospital-based laboratories by performing specimen collection, processing, and handling of blood and body fluid specimens. Responsibilities include receipt, identification verification, processing, shipping, and storage of specimens; assisting with preparation of containers and reagents for ordered testing; interacting with patients and healthcare staff; prioritizing workload; ensuring services follow established guidelines; using computer information systems daily; participating in quality control; and assisting with training and educating new employees and students. This part-time night-shift role is based in Jacksonville, FL.
