Job Summary
Laboratory Scientist III–I&I supports Immunology and Immunotoxicology platforms within Labcorp’s Global I&I department in Shanghai. Responsibilities include performing sample analysis, data review, and QC; assisting with method development and validation of immunotoxicology assays (e.g., ELISpot, immunoassays, flow cytometry, ddPCR); maintaining study documentation and equipment; mentoring and training less experienced staff; participating in project planning, meetings, and client visits, and ensuring compliance with applicable methods, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines (FDA, EMA, NMPA). The role emphasizes collaboration, problem-solving, and continuous improvement within a GMP/GxP environment and requires strong English communication and ability to coordinate resources.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in cell biology or immunology
- 3 months or more experience using computer and office software applications (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Preferred Qualifications: 2 or more years working experience in CRO company
- Deep Knowledge in cell culture, primary cell isolation, cell-based assay (ELISpot, Ex-vivo stimulation, NAB, et al), immunoassays (ELISA, MSD and ELLA et al), Flow Cytometry, dd-PCR
- Computing skills, including word processing and use of spreadsheets (e.g. Word, Excel)
- Strong English writing and communication skills
- Able to effectively schedule resources
- Skilled in conducting experiments, compiling data and organizing document according to FDA, EMA and NMPA regulatory requirements
