Job Summary
Prepare media and perform quality control, order and restock consumables, and clean, sterilize, and distribute glassware while managing inventory across all lab areas. Assist with laundering lab coats and scrubs, perform basic equipment maintenance, and handle gas management for CO2, LN2, and dry ice. Serve as a backup for shipping and receiving, manage chemical inventory, and adhere to strict safety guidelines. Work 40 hours per week with a 6-month initial term, potentially converting to full-time. Lift 50 pounds and move heavy equipment frequently.
Required Qualifications
- 0-1 years prior laboratory operations experience
- BS degree in biological sciences
- Must be able to multi-task and prioritize tasks
- Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds and occasionally move heavy equipment
- Must be proactive and able to self-initiate
- Must be able to bend, lift, stretch, and climb at times
- Prolonged periods standing and walking throughout facilities
