Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field
- Previous leadership experience in a technical or lab setting
- Previous experience working in a lab setting
- Proficiency working with computers
- Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement
- Authorization to work in the US without restriction or sponsorship
Desired Qualifications
- 3-5 years of Technical Supervision experience
- Proficiency with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
- Experience with ICP-MS, ICP-OES, and Hg Instrumentation
- Experience with metals preparation and digestion procedures
- Project Management Certification
- Laboratory Safety Certification
- Demonstrated leadership and team building skills
- Continuing education in management
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to suggest method modifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to organize workflow and communicate clearly and concisely
- Ability to manage the work of other personnel and interact well with staff, colleagues, managers, and clients
- Ability to motivate the team to excel technically and as a supervisor
- Positive attitude toward quality control and safety procedures
- Ability to multitask, as well as handle stress and a busy schedule
