Job Summary
Laboratory Technician role performing chemical analysis using XRF, Spark-OES, gas fusion, combustion and GDMS, preparing samples for analysis and micro-cleanliness exams, and calculating in-process melt additions. Must have Level 4 qualification in chemistry or related technical discipline (or equivalent) and experience in a laboratory environment; familiarity with analytical techniques listed; ability to prepare solutions and understand dilutions; microscope skills. Required Qualifications
- Level 4 qualification in chemistry or related technical discipline or equivalent
- Previous experience within a laboratory environment
- Understanding of dilutions and concentrations when making solutions
- Knowledge and experience of using an optical microscope
