Job Summary
Test new and updated LIMS workflows during development and support user acceptance testing. Suggest fixes, participate in code reviews, and respond to operator issues while creating, filing, and tracking documents in the Quality Management System. Handle QA documentation to keep relevant parties accountable and ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements. Increase efficiency using AI tools and integrate them into manual processes. This role supports clinical patient testing in a high-throughput prenatal diagnostics lab, requiring a Bachelor's degree and experience troubleshooting advanced technical issues.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with biological or computational focus
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose advanced technical issues
- Familiarity with Python (able to read and understand code to diagnose errors from tracebacks)
- Prior experience configuring LIMS or similar customer-facing production software
- Prior experience working in a research or production lab
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work flexibly and well under given timeframes
- Highly organized, strong written and verbal communication skills
- Enjoy a wide variety of daily tasks in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments / College of American Pathologists (CLIA / CAP) Lab, or other regulated laboratory
- Experience with data analysis using Python, SQL, or Excel
- Familiarity with Quality Management Systems and related regulations (CFR 21 Part 11, ISO 13485, etc)
