Job Summary
Ensure accurate entry, verification, and quality review of laboratory orders and specimen information while maintaining LIS/PSC databases, supporting data integrity and efficient workflows. Communicate specimen processing issues to clients and staff, participate in process improvements, provide order-validation support and staff development, and meet productivity and accuracy standards within the initial period. Requires detailed attention, independence in a fast-paced healthcare environment, and strong collaboration with laboratory and client-facing teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology and laboratory testing processes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other computer-based systems
