Laboratory Business Process & Digital Transformation Lead

Job Summary
Lead business-side delivery of the AI-enabled Marine Ground Digital Twin Platform and coordinate digital transformation initiatives across Fugro's APAC geotechnical laboratory network. Translate laboratory operational needs into clear process requirements, digital workflows, and implementation plans for RFID tracking, FENIX LIMS integration, LabPro, dashboards, and automation. Map current workflows, identify gaps, and define future-state processes while acting as the bridge between lab operations, IT, data, quality, and technical stakeholders. Coordinate implementation from requirements gathering through testing, rollout, and post-go-live support, ensuring readiness for AI-enabled analytics. This 3-year fixed term contract is based in Singapore for SG/PR candidates only.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Process Management, or a related field
- 5+ years' experience in business process transformation, system implementation or technology driven operational change
- Proven track record in managing IT and digitalisation projects in a laboratory, engineering, technical operations, manufacturing, logistics or asset heavy environment
- Experience with LIMS, ERP, RFID, sample tracking, data acquisition systems, dashboards or workflow platforms
- 0-3 years, experience in leading cross-functional projects and coordinating stakeholders across operations, IT, quality, data and technical teams
- Formal people management experience is not essential, but the candidate must be able to lead initiatives, influence users and drive adoption across multiple teams
- Strong analytical and process improvement skills
- Excellent project coordination, stakeholder engagement and change management abilities
- Good understanding of laboratory operations, ISO 17025 compliance, geotechnical workflow or technical service environments
- Ability to translate operational needs into clear digital requirements, user stories, workflow maps and implementation plans
- Comfortable working across regional teams, vendors and technical specialists
- This is a 3-year fixed term contract for placement in Singapore

Desired Qualifications
- Additional certifications in project management, Lean Six Sigma, LIMS, digital transformation or change management
- Certification in PMP, Lean Six Sigma, business analysis, change management, data analytics, Power Platform or digital transformation
