Job Summary
Laboratory Assistant at SGS New Zealand in Waihi responsible for timely and accurate reporting of results at the Waihi Minerals Laboratory, preparing and analysing main laboratory samples (geochem & environmental), operating AAS and ICP-MS instruments, maintaining the quality system, meeting reporting deadlines, ensuring health and safety, and supporting laboratory objectives. Requires teamwork, strong attention to detail, good organisational and communication skills, and flexibility for a 4 days on / 4 days off schedule.
