Job Summary
Provides essential laboratory support to the School of Nursing and Midwifery by preparing, setting up, and maintaining laboratory spaces, equipment, and materials for teaching and practical sessions. Supports troubleshooting, inventory management, safety compliance, and delivering technical assistance to students and staff under guidance of the Laboratory Team Leader. Responsibilities include coordinating resources for practical sessions, maintaining records and risk assessments, managing equipment loans, and ensuring adherence to health and safety standards. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are required to engage with students, staff, and stakeholders in a fast-paced academic environment.
Required Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification at Certificate IV or diploma level with relevant work-related experience or Completion of a post-trades certificate and extensive relevant experience and on the job training or Completion of a Certificate III with extensive relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
