Job Summary
Laboratory Assistant in our R&D laboratory supports daily operations by managing incoming materials, organizing and documenting inventory, and assisting in formulation and testing activities. Responsibilities include logging materials, maintaining raw material inventory, preparing accurate lab records and logs, cleaning glassware, supporting formulation development to expand the formulation library, recording experimental data, ensuring safety and waste disposal compliance, and assisting with ordering supplies as needed. Requires an AA degree in Chemistry or related field (or equivalent experience) and 1+ years in an R&D lab, with strong communication and organizational skills, and proficiency in MS Excel/Word. Compensation is $55,000–$85,000/year. The role offers opportunities to work within a collaborative, diverse team focused on dermatology product development.
Required Qualifications
- AA degree in Chemistry or related field preferred, or equivalent education and directly related years of experience
- 1 or more years of experience in Research and Development laboratory
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
