Job Summary
Laboratory Assistant responsibilities include cleaning, drying, and storing glassware; disposing of waste solutions; retrieving washroom acids and solvents; maintaining glassware areas; learning simple laboratory operations such as media production; learning and using inventory and ordering systems for lab supplies; assisting with receiving and placing lab supplies; conducting activities safely and efficiently; and performing other duties as assigned. The role requires excellent communication, attention to detail, ability to work independently and in a team, adaptability, and a willingness to learn new techniques. Shift is Tue–Sat, 12pm–6pm in North Kingstown, RI, with in-person work; pay range is $17.00–$20.00 per hour.
