Job Summary
Manage lab specimen processing and intake, including specimen management, clerical duties, blood collection, and specimen processing. Perform waived or moderate complex testing if authorized by local regulations. Maintain excellent customer service and time management skills while supporting the acute care environment at St. Elizabeth Hospital. This Level 3 Trauma Center serves northeastern Colorado with 50 beds and provides comprehensive cardiology, maternal, and surgical services.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/G.E.D.
- BLS-CPR within 90 days
Desired Qualifications
- Lab Assistant Program certification
- Phlebotomy program certificate
- 6 months experience in an acute care facility
- Excellent customer service and time management skills
