Job Summary
Develop a comprehensive simulation program for the nursing curriculum and oversee all instructors teaching in the laboratory setting. Lead the design, development, and evaluation of new courses, scenarios, and educational initiatives using simulation best practices while coordinating student scheduling for supplemental activities and live demonstrations. Manage laboratory operations by conducting inventory, monitoring the budget, and maintaining safe working functions of all equipment including high-fidelity simulators. Train staff on safety and data interpretation, assess development needs, and generate monthly usage reports and data summaries.
Required Qualifications
- Master of Science in Nursing
- experience with simulation in a healthcare education or training environment
- Experience/certification with high fidelity simulation
- experience teaching in the laboratory/simulation environment
- Knowledge of Academic Electronic Health Record (AEHR) system
- One (1) year in supervisory lab position
