Job Summary
Laboratory Analyst II in environmental lab performing sample preparation, routine analysis, and QA/QC testing per EPA methods and SOPs; review analytical data for accuracy, document activities in LIMS, and generate technical reports; operate, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation; support QA initiatives, audits, and SOP revisions; maintain safety/compliance, assist with inventory and front-desk duties as needed; collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines; requires Bachelor’s in Chemistry or related field and 1-2 years of lab experience; full-time, onsite in Conroe, TX with occasional after-hours work.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related science field required; equivalent combination of education and relevant lab experience may be considered
- 1-2 years of professional hands-on analytical laboratory experience
- Demonstrated experience operating, calibrating, maintaining, and troubleshooting laboratory instrumentation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Work Schedule: Full-time onsite; ability to work outside scheduled hours, including evenings or weekends as needed
