Job Summary
Perform routine and specialized laboratory testing following established procedures, preparing and analyzing chemical, physical, and biological samples. Operate lab equipment and instrumentation while maintaining accurate records and adhering to safety and compliance regulations. Assist colleagues, clients, engineers, and team members with various projects, keeping up with inventory stock levels and ensuring workspace cleanliness. Prioritize tasks to meet deadlines for compliance samples and handle unexpected situations with problem-solving skills. This full-time role requires an HS diploma and English proficiency, with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Environmental Science preferred. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with overtime and weekend possibilities.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma
- Authorization to work in US indefinitely without sponsorship
- Professional working proficiency in English, including the ability to read, write and speak in English
- Must have high level of attention to detail, ability to audit your work
- Must be proficient in office software and tools, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Full time position, Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm with possibility of overtime and weekends
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Biology or Environmental Science
- Experience in the environmental industry
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Detail-oriented, quick thinker and proactive problem solver
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and compliance or the ability to learn it
- Either have experience as a bench analyst or possess a strong educational background in biology, chemistry, or related sciences
