Laboratory Analyst - Ecotoxicology (Ste-Foy, QC)

Job Summary
Perform analyses on samples and complex samples preparation; Breeding monitoring: algae, daphnia, ceriodaphnia, fathead, trout; maintenance of equipment related to breeding and analyses; manage one or more aquariums or pools in open systems; follow SOPs to ensure accuracy and quality; ensure quality control criteria are met for all reported data; understand and troubleshoot analyses; provide input to corrective action procedures; ensure deadlines are met; maintain equipment; use summary reports to plan and organize work; follow laboratory safety rules and regulations; keep work area clean and organized; contribute to daily/weekly planning; overtime during peak season (May to December) and weekend availability; status: Full time, 37.5h/week; comfortable working on your feet for long hours. Location: Laboratory Services, Canada, Quebec, Fixed term.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma in Biology, Bioecology or related diploma/experience
