Job Summary
Laboratory Analyst responsible for carrying out analytical processes (weighing, fusion, leaching, titration, instrumental analysis) with high accuracy and precision per SOPs; ensure QA via ISO17025; maintain equipment and records; perform instrument calibrations and data review; participate in audits, quality initiatives, and non-conformances; support lab housekeeping, stock monitoring, and health & safety adherence; strong communication and time-management skills required.
Required Qualifications
- Grade 12 (with Maths and Science)
- Analytical Chemistry Degree / Diploma
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a production analytical chemistry laboratory with good understanding of sample preparation, classical wet chemistry, ICP-OES and ISO17025 system implementation
