Laboratory Aide II

Job Summary
Performs requisition entry and result entry, monitors instrument temperatures, maintains supplies of test reagents and other materials used for specimen testing, and processes specimens for send out to reference laboratories. Requires a High School Diploma or GED and prior laboratory experience or medical assistant training/certification or completion of a laboratory introductory phlebotomy course. Vaccination is required (Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella) with annual flu vaccine unless exempt. Located in Traverse City, MI with remote work option available.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED
- Previous laboratory experience or medical assistant training and/or certification or satisfactory completion of laboratory introductory phlebotomy course
- Munson Healthcare vaccination policy: all employees must be vaccinated or have lab-confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella; flu vaccine required annually or with approved exemption
