Laboratory Accessioner

Process patient specimens and enter data into the Laboratory Information System while verifying insurance and ensuring complete patient identification on requisitions and labels. Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to unpack, route samples to staging areas, and prepare specimens for internal departments or send outs. Resolve and document problem specimens, maintain accurate documentation for all tasks, and submit weekly reports detailing completed work and resolutions. Comply with environmental health and safety policies at all times. This role supports Acupath Laboratories, a nationwide provider of specialized anatomic pathology services focusing on urology, gastroenterology, and hematology/oncology.
