Job Summary
Recruit, train, and develop members while leading and mobilizing them for political action and collective bargaining. Represent members in hearings, negotiate contracts, and provide leadership to rank-and-file negotiators and committees. Identify and develop member leaders, chapter officers, and stewards to strengthen advocacy within the Yuba City area. Requires weekend and evening work, occasional overnight travel, and a California driver's license. This role supports CSEA's mission to champion the rights and welfare of over 250,000 school employees across California.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a subject that still excites you
- Work experience relevant to organizing and recruiting new members

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
