Labor Pool RN

RN provides assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of total nursing care for assigned patients on an intermittent visiting basis, primarily in a home care/hospice setting within Riverside Health System. Responsibilities include developing and updating care plans based on physiological, psychosocial, and cultural needs; supervising and delegating to non-professional personnel; coordinating with interdisciplinary teams; ensuring timely and accurate clinical documentation; addressing end-of-life care and patient/family education; and handling preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures to support patient stability and comfort. Requires strong communication, critical thinking, and decision-making skills, and the ability to work with diverse patient populations and caregivers.
