Job Summary
Industrial Electricians needed to install, service, and repair conduit, wiring, motors, generators, and high-voltage systems. Troubleshoot using diagnostic tools like voltmeters and ohmmeters to identify and fix malfunctioning industrial equipment. Perform routine maintenance and safety checks to prevent equipment failure. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to ensure systems meet code. Modify or upgrade existing, complex control systems. Strong understanding of 3-phase systems, PLC controls, pneumatics, and hydraulics. Adhere to strict safety protocols, including LOTO. Able to quickly diagnose and fix issues to minimize production downtime. Capable of working in industrial environments, which may involve lifting, climbing, and standing for long periods.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED, followed by completion of an apprenticeship or technical training program with certifications.
