Job Summary
Industrial Electricians needed to install, service, and repair conduit, wiring, motors, generators, and high-voltage systems. Diagnostic work using voltmeters and ohmmeters to identify and fix malfunctioning industrial equipment, plus routine maintenance and safety checks. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to ensure systems meet code; modify or upgrade existing, complex control systems. Requires strong knowledge of 3-phase systems, PLC controls, pneumatics, hydraulics, strict adherence to safety (LOTO), and the ability to quickly diagnose issues to minimize production downtime. Industrial environment work may involve lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods. Education includes high school diploma or GED followed by an apprenticeship or technical training with certifications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- completion of apprenticeship or technical training program with certifications
- strong understanding of 3-phase systems, PLC controls, pneumatics, and hydraulics
- adherence to safety protocols including LOTO (Lockout/Tagout)
- ability to diagnose and fix issues quickly to minimize downtime
- experience working in industrial environments (lifting, climbing, standing)
