Job Summary
Labor & Employment Litigation Paralegal needed for a remote role supporting a national litigation law firm with the Sacramento office, including e-discovery tasks, legal research, cite checking, pleadings and discovery drafting, trial preparation, and coordination with clients and court staff. Responsibilities include drafting motions and subpoenas, preparing deposition materials, preparing for trial, maintaining case calendars, and assisting with trial technology and data-related projects. Requires ABA-approved paralegal certificate (or equivalent experience), 10+ years of litigation experience, and strong familiarity with labor and employment laws; salary range 75-100k; remote work with occasional travel to the Sacramento office.
Required Qualifications
- Paralegal certificate from an ABA approved program or an affidavit re work experience sufficient to comply with California Business and Professions Code Sections 6450-6456
- 10+ years of litigation experience
- High degree of knowledge of federal and state labor and employment laws (e.g., wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, workplace safety, FEHA, wage and hour disputes, labor codes)
- Proficiency in Eclipse/IPro, Case Notebook, Westlaw, and Microsoft Office
