Job Summary
Provide legal advice on employment law, labor relations, and workplace matters to clients including public school districts and employers. Counsel on federal and state compliance, workplace policies, and legal risks while representing clients in administrative hearings, arbitrations, and court proceedings. Draft employment agreements, conduct investigations, and negotiate labor contracts. Deliver training and guidance on labor and employment practices. This role requires on-site presence five days a week at a client office in Syracuse, Rochester, or Binghamton, NY. Candidates must be licensed to practice law in New York with at least three years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed to practice law in New York
- 3+ years of experience in labor and employment law
- Must be on-site five days a week at one of our clients offices in Syracuse, Rochester, or Binghamton, NY
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Ability to build client trust and communicate clearly
- Works well in a collaborative, team-oriented setting
