Job Summary
Assess, monitor, and respond to changing patient conditions while developing and managing individualized care plans for labor and delivery. Conduct bedside handoffs, utilize fetal monitoring and diagnostic data, and educate patients and families throughout their care journey. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including obstetricians, midwives, and NICU specialists to support high-risk obstetrics and advanced maternal care. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and serve as a patient advocate while promoting exceptional outcomes. Join the 16-week residency program to transition from student to professional nurse in the region's largest birthing center.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN)
- Current RN License or eligibility for licensure in the state of Missouri
- BLS Certification through the American Heart Association (or obtained within 30 days of hire)
