Job Summary
Night shift Labor and Delivery RN role in a top Houston area hospital. Responsible for delivering safe nursing care to labor and delivery patients, coordinating with an interdisciplinary team, conducting assessments, assisting with exams and treatment, educating patients, and maintaining medical records. Requires BSN, active Texas RN license (or multi-state compact) without stipulations, 2-3 years L&D acute care experience, and 2+ years acute care RN experience. Night shift only; relocation package offered. Role includes precepting/mentoring and supporting ongoing professional development and discharge/transfer planning.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN Texas License, or active multi-state compact RN license, clear of stipulations or disciplinary actions
- BSN
- 2-3 years experience in an acute care setting that is Labor and Delivery (No ADN, new grads will not be considered)
- at least 2 years of Acute care RN experience
- Full Time Night Shift Availability Required – exclusively night shifts; no day shift, transfers, or part-time opportunities currently available
