Labor Delivery Recovery Postpartum RN Part Time

Provides direct patient care activities for obstetric and neonatal patients in Labor & Delivery and Postpartum units, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation within nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educates patients and families on illness management and post-treatment home care, and ensures communication of the care plan across the continuum. Participates in patient safety, quality, regulatory compliance, professional development, and uses nursing skills to meet physical, psychosocial, emotional, and cultural needs. Works within Memorial Belleville and Memorial Shiloh settings as part of the BJC RN Career Ladder, with opportunities for advancement to higher ladder levels.
